- This Sources Sought Notice (SS) SP0600-12-R-0212 is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA-Energy). The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified businesses, including: • 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Businesses • Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) • Women-owned Small Businesses (WOSB) • Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone) Small Businesses • Veteran-owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and • Large Businesses DLA Energy is seeking to identify businesses that are interested and capable of supplying ground fuels requirements for DLA Energy-PEC. This notice covers the ground fuels requirements for DLA Energy customers located on the Hawaiian Islands of Oahu, Kauai and Hawaii. The total estimated quantity for Program 3.10 is in excess of 12 million gallons distributed over approximately 75 line items. The products procured consist of: • Biodiesel B20 (BDI) • Diesel Fuel LS#2 (Dyed LSSS) • Gasohol, Reg Unl (GUR) • Gasoline, Reg Unl (MUR) • Jet Fuel, Type A (JAA) • Fuel Ethanol E85 (E8) • Red-Dyed ULSD #2 Grade (DSS) • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel #2 (DS2) The deadline for responding to this Sources Sought Notice is January 24, 2012. In responding to this notice please provide your company name, email address, phone/fax number, types of fuel capable of supplying, which Hawaiian island the fuel can be supplied and name & location of fuel supplier. Responses and/or questions can be sent to the contracting office points of contact listed in this notice.
