THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Providence VA Medical Center requires a Tobii Eye Tracker. Under statue 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) Providence VA Medical Center intends to make a sole source award of this requirement to Tobii Technology INC. The proposed contract action is for an eye tracker. The Government intends to award to only one source (Tobii Technology) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is a proprietary piece exclusively through the manufacturer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
