Description

Project Number 636-11-117, Cooling Tower Roof. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by drawings and specifications (when available). Construction area is located in existing structure adjacent to Buiding 8 at the Grand Island Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System located at 2201 North Broadwell, Grand Island, Nebraska 68803. Work includes, but is not limited to, storm water management, steel, roof insulation and roof membrane and certain other items necessary for completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-12-Q-0166 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about January 13, 2012. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will not be held for this project. Please see solicitation when available for point of contact information if you wish to arrange to see the site. The Due date for quotations is tentatively scheduled to be on Monday, February 13, 2012 (see solicitation when available for specific time and date). The successful contractor will be required to provide either a Performance Bond, Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 60 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
