Description
Project Scope 120 Hours of Business Acumen Training consisting of: 8 Hours of Administration 12 Hours of Goal Setting 20 Hours of Decision Making (Business Case Analysis) 40 Hours of Project Management (Project Management Institute Body of Knowledge-PMI PMBOK) 40 Hours of Operations Management (APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management) * Administration, Goal Setting, and Decision Making will be counted as one 40 hour segment for the purposes of requirements specification Project Plan The vendor will work with Corpus Christi Army Depot personnel to conduct a "Lesson Laydown" which is a complete review of the development work that has been done to date. The process will determine what existing material can be used for the program and what specific training topics should be included. The vendor will work with Depot personnel to complete development of the training program, with emphasis on delivering the best available industry standard training. Project Management training will be in accordance with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Operations Management training will use materials from the Association for Operations Management (APICS). Goal Setting, Decision Making, and Administration training will be a combination of existing Depot material with top-quality industry standard material. The proposed training program will be presented to CCAD administration for review and revision prior to delivery. Delivery Plan Training will be delivered at CCAD to cohorts consisting of 18 employees. The preferred schedule would be to do each 40 hour segment in two weeks, three days one week and two the other week. An instructor's manual and master copy of student materials will be provided to CCAD. This requirement is based on eight cohorts. A pre-determined number of classes should be taught on Campus. This is intended to expose employees to the University environment including classrooms, research and library facilities.
