Description

This is a Sole Source acquisition for a 5-year Requirements contract. (Basic year + 4 - 1 year options) The repair BEQ for the MADARS Computer Workstation (WS) with NSN 7010-01-506-3625UC P/N 57710A120200 is 67 ea. for the Basic Year, 8 ea. for Option I, No quantities for remaining options. Workstations (WS) with NSN 7010-01-540-7428UC P/N 57710A12050 is 49 ea. for the Basic Year, 28 ea. for Option Year I, 21 ea. for Option Year II, 9 ea. for Option Year III, No quantities for remaining options. Workstations (WS) with NSN 7010-01-577-9430UC P/N 57710A120700 is 1 ea. for the Basic Year, 50 ea. for Option Year I, 52 ea. for Option Year II, 52 ea. for Option Year III, and 50 ea. for Option Year IV. The repair BEQ for the Communication Controller (CC) with NSN 5895-01507-2148 P/N 57710A1200300 is 64 ea. for the Basic Year, 57 ea. for Option Year I, 36 ea. for Option Year II, 30 for Option Year III, and 24 ea. for Option Year IV. The repair BEQ for the Print Out Unit(POU) with NSN 4920-01-506-4328UC P/N 57710A120400 is 25 ea. for the Basic Year, 26 ea. for Option Year I, 27 ea for Option Year II, 19 ea. for Option Year III, 21 ea. for Option Year IV. CC with the following dimensions: Height 7.425in, Width 6.304in, Depth 6.304in Weight 8.5 lb. These items provide various functions for the Malfunction detection Analysis Recording System (MADARS) on the C-5 Aircraft. The WS allows the flight engineer to interface with the aircraft and monitor the status of the aircraft. The CC facilitates communications or acts as the interface between the WS, Multiplex Processor (MUX) II and POU. The POU is a serial printer used on the aircraft for printing flight data reports, malfunction codes, and test point data to the aircrew and maintenance maintainers. The approximate solicitation date will be 27 January 2012 with the approximate response date 01 Mar 2012. FOB Origin. The solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. This acquisition is restricted to Onboard Software, Inc. a division of BAE Systems.
