Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, 718 Smyth Road, Manchester, NH 03104 intends to issue a contract for Boiler Plant Safety Improvements. Boiler Plant Modifications Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, and necessary removal of portions of existing structures and construction and certain other items. The Boiler Plant is located in Building number 7. This is VA Project Number 608-11-110. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE is 238220. The US Small Business Administration size standard is $14,000,000.00. The SOLICITATION date will be approximately January 23, 2012. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal and will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The project magnitude is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. Firms must have a current registration with the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov and be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise at http://www.vetbiz.gov and have Certifications and Representations, ORCA, at http://orca.bpn.gov, for their proposal to be responsive. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only via electronic media at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available.
