Description
The Department of Defense (DoD) Counter Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO) is providing an Industry Day site visit on February 15th, 2012 at the Brigada de Selva No. 19 "NAPO" rea CAL-19, El Coca, Ecuador, for companies interested in responding to a prospective solicitation to procure Low Draft Boats and Trailers, maintenance tools, spare parts and training for Latin America. Training and operational support will use the Maintenance/Operations Support and Training (MOST) team concept. Future procurements may be delivered to other countries. The Industry Day is intended to allow contactors access to witness the operational environment and use so that they can review and assess their needs for all requirements set forth in the Draft TORP 0270 PWS issued to industry on or about February 15, 2012. Due to the limitation of commercial flights into El Coca, tickets should be purchased at least three weeks in advance since flights to and from El Coca are usually sold out. The tickets cannot be purchased online. There shall be no photography allowed during the visit. The Government will not be conducting one-on-one discussions during this event. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The CNTPO does not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. All contractors wishing to participate in this Industry Day shall contact SOUTHCOM Mr. Michael Pritchett (michael.pritchett@hq.southcom.mil ) at (305) 437-2578 DSN (567), SMDC La Quita Mox (Laquita.mox@us.army.mil ) at (256) 955-5907 voice, (256) 955-4240 Fax or Stefanie Polk (Stefanie.polk@us.army.mil) at (256) 955-5903 voice, (256) 955-4240 Fax and CNTPO John Jims (john.jims@navy.mil ) at (540) 653-2374.
