SPECIAL NOTICE ACTION CODE: <SPEC> CLASSIFICATION CODE: SUBJECT: Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source for PARKING SPACES SOLICITATION NUMBER: PR 20067511 RESPONSE DATE: January 18, 2012 CONTACT POINTS: Nicholas Martinelli, Contract Specialist, 202-344-3231, FAX: 202-344-1254 DESCRIPTION: US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) with the MUNICIPIO DE SAN JUAN, EMPRESAS MUNICIPALES DEPT., OFICINA DE EMPRESAS MUNICIPALES for ten (10) parking spaces. ***Sole Source determination is based on MUNICIPIO DE SAN JUAN, EMPRESAS MUNICIPALES DEPT., OFICINA DE EMPRESAS MUNICIPALES has ten (10) parking spaces next to the Old San Juan Custom House where the CBP offices are located. ***Delivery shall be FOB Destination, Puerto Rico and is required within 30 days after receipt of order. ***The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 921110. **The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with MUNICIPIO DE SAN JUAN, EMPRESAS MUNICIPALES DEPT., OFICINA DE EMPRESAS MUNICIPALES for ten (10) parking spaces. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if any interested party believes it can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can perform the requirement. A determination to compete this action based on the responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities via email. Verifications of receipt of responses are the sole responsibility of the contractor. If no responsive statements are received by January 18, 2012 at 3:00 pm EST, an award shall be made to MUNICIPIO DE SAN JUAN, EMPRESAS MUNICIPALES DEPT., OFICINA DE EMPRESAS MUNICIPALES.
