Description

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is issuing this notice for Sources Sought for the following service. FERC seeks a product that would create automated market surveillance queries that would identify anomalous market outcomes on an ongoing basis. Once identified, the anomalous outcomes would be further examined to ensure market integrity. For details on the markets regulated by FERC, please see: http://www.ferc.gov/about/overview.asp FERC seeks a remote database solution that can provide the following features: a. automated external data access b. a secure customizable server environment with read and write capability c. capable of large query runs d. backups of current in-house information e. ad hoc query f. API data access Data provided shall include: a. nodal prices b. load levels c. weather conditions d. fuel prices e. transmission outages f. generator outages g. constraints h. FTR auction outcomes Interested parties shall submit a three (3) page Statement of Capabilities that details how their product may meet the needs of FERC. Statement of Capabilities shall be submitted via e-mail to the POC identified herein, no later than the deadline specified in the FBO posting.
