- Note to change of date for Vendor submission of application. Date changed to 15 January 2012. Solicitation Number: JDOERS12-1 Domestic Preparedness Workshop / Joint Domestic Operations Equipment Requirements Conference (JDOERS). National Guard Bureau, Washington, D.C. is hosting the 2012 Domestic Preparedness Workshop, 21 February 2012 - 23 February 2012. This conference is held as a means for field level experts to identify critical equipment shortfalls in the Domestic Operations arena, aligned with FEMA's Emergency Support Functions and develop possible solutions to meet those shortfalls. The results of the conference will be briefed to senior National Guard leadership and documented in the Annual JDOERs Book. The combined event will be held at the Gaylord National Convention Center, National Harbor, MD. Seeking Vendors to set up and display their equipment to demonstrate the capabilities they have to offer in the Domestic Operations arena. Domestic Operations equipment should fit within the following areas: Transportation (air and ground), Communications, Public Works and Engineering, Firefighting, Mass Care, Public Health and Medical Services, Search and Rescue, HAZMAT response, Public Safety and Security, and Incident Awareness and Assessment. Vendors will be restricted to the exhibit floor and will not be provided credentials allowing access beyond the exhibit floor. Individual briefing sessions with interested companies and applicable Emergency Support Function breakout session will be scheduled on a case by case basis at the discretion of the working group chair and in accordance with Chief, NGB guidance. Note: This is NOT a "Bidders Conference" and this announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any offer or for presentations, marketing efforts, or data offered for examination; therefore the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. The most recent version of the DOERs Book and the Vendor's Registration Form can be accessed at http://www.ng.mil/ll/default.aspx. Prospective industry vendors can register for attendance by filling out registration form and submitting to ngb.cfsp@ang.af.mil. Vendor selection will be based on a first-come, first-served space available basis to those industry vendors with equipment products directly relating to domestic operations. Registration forms must be received NLT 15 January 2012. Industry vendors will be sent an Exhibitor Service Kit upon receipt of registration form.
