- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to AASHTO for the purchase of 300 copies of the AASHTO Roadside Design Guide, 4 th Edition. This publication provides the foundation and information needed for Highway Safety training course NHI-380032A. The focus of the course is on safety treatments that minimize the likelihood of serious injuries when a driver runs off the road. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The proposed action is for equipment which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $49,500; the anticipated award date is January, 2012.
