Description: VISN 16 RFQ# VA256-12-Q-0246 1.0 Introduction The contractor shall provide products and services in order to maintain a stable efficient and productive system. These activities include system software maintenance and updates, ensuring compliance with security requirements, user accounts management, configuration management, system upgrade improvement, maintenance of system documentation and procedures, and contingency planning for the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 16 (VISN 16), which includes (ten) 10 medical facilities and surrounding CBOCs (Community Based Outpatient Clinic) where VOXAR software is being used. Service/Maintenance Period: December 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 (includes 1 option year). Option may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Services include: ïƒ˜Unlimited 24 x 7 Free Telephone Support ïƒ˜Unlimited Next Day Parts Replacement for all VOXAR 3D Workstations and software and products: TMVSE000321 Voxar 3D Workstation 6.3 Advanced ESA TMVSE000322 Voxar 3D Workstation 6.3 Vessel Matrix ESA TMVSE000327 Voxar 3D Workstation 6.3 PET/CT Fusion ESA ïƒ˜Unlimited Software Upgrades based on Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Availability ïƒ˜On-site support 2.0 Description for Maintenance Services required 2.1 Overview The Maintenance Services includes a wide range of on-site and remote services including Telephone Help Desk Technical Support, Software Support, on-site repair support and Escalated Parts Replacement. Key Features Include: 2.2 Unlimited Telephone Technical Support The contractor shall provide support to VISN 16 Medical Centers and CBOC Users 24 hours per day. Upon receipt of the phone call from a Medical Center or CBOC user, the contractor will provide the level of operational and technical troubleshooting support required to isolate or correct any system problem. The contractor is required to provide knowledgeable personnel to work with the engineer over the phone to isolate the source of the problem. 2.3 Expedited Parts Replacement The contractor must be capable of expediting replacement of all covered, failed hardware components. A replacement component will be dispatched within a reasonable time to allow for delivery and installation. 2.4 Original Equipment Manufacturer Software Updates This service agreement includes software updates based on the original equipment order. VISN 16 site personnel are responsible for installing and maintaining all software loads with the assistance of the contractor ™s technicians. 2.5 On-Site Support If after extensive telephone diagnostic testing, the contractor and VISN 16 COTR evaluates that on-site support is required, the contractor is expected to dispatch a technician for on-site support and repairs.
