Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to renovate the existing air traffic control tower at A. B. Won Pat International Airport in Guam. In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1 - this announcement is to conduct a Market Survey for the purpose of soliciting statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors. This announcement is not a screening information request (SIR) or request for offer (RFO) of any kind. It is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Further, the FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine who is interested in the referenced project. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is: 236220. SDVOSB and SBA 8(a) companies are highly encouraged to submit on this Market Survey. Submit the attached Business Declaration with statement of interest. Below is the Statement of Objectives for the referenced project: Remove all items on the cab roof, exception will be noted in the dwgs.Remove all existing cab roof material to the roof deck. Install insulation, flashing and two layers of EDPM roofing membrane, one will be mechanically fastened and the top layer to be glue down.Replace existing handrail, antenna mounts, and install 8 new lightning terminals. Replace cab window sealants, and paint all exterior surfaces, including structural metal supports and others.Erect wind protection barrier on roof during reroofing. Erect cab temporary platform to perform work inside cab.Replace cab ceiling grid and tiles, remove rust from underside of cab roof deck.Install spray on rubber type finishes on cat walk to correct drainage problem. Remove and replace existing copper window spray system with same.Electrical works inside the cab, track lights, ceiling fan, GFI outlets, and misc work.Replace an existing refrigerant coil, install a new chilled water coil to tie into the existing existing system.
