NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. This effort is sole source to The Boeing Company Route 291 & Stewart Avenue, Ridley Park, PA 19078-1099 (CAGE 77272). Authority and Justification for other than full and open competition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 because the proposed contract action is for services/supplies for which the Government has Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements to permit full and open competition. A Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Cost Contract modification is contemplated to incorporate additional efforts and to extend the period of performance to 31 December 2012. The number of hours estimated to complete the additional effort is 3100 hours. The proposed effort is to provide a fully qualified and flight worthy DAFCS for the CH-47F. It is also an objective that the DAFCS developed for the CH-47F can be further developed for use on the MH-47G and CH-47D platforms. This growth objective shall be accommodated in the DAFCS Input Output interface signal requirements in the hardware development program that allow for the continued growth of the DAFCS Flight Control Computer (FCC) for other Chinook platforms. Firms that can accomplish the above requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and provide supporting evidence to permit participation in current and future solicitations. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and maybe adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. NOTES: 22, & 23
