Huachuca, AZ Pre-Proposal Conference Registration Information and Instructions Information Technology (IT) Support to 2nd Signal Center, Continental United States-Theater Network Operations and Security Center, (C-TNOSC) and 7th Signal Center, South United States-Theater Network Operations and Security Center, (S-TNOSC) Date: 14 December 2011 Time: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM Check In 8:30 AM - TBD Pre-Proposal Conference Location: Greely Hall Auditorium, Bldg 61801, Ft. Huachuca, AZ Purpose: The purpose of the conference is to provide industry an opportunity to have a better understanding of the Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements and a forum to address general questions from industry. Attendance is recommended for only those who intend to submit a proposal in response to the RFP. Attendance is neither required nor a pre-requisite for proposal submission and will not be considered in the evaluation of offerors. Space is limited thus attendance is limited to a maximum of three attendees per company. Proof of identification for each individual will be required for access into the conference. The Army reserves the right to reduce the number of seats should space availability present an issue. Access to Ft. Huachuca: Due to the high number of vehicles entering the gate in the morning, please ensure you allot adequate time for entry and parking. Each individual entering Ft. Huachuca will need to show a valid photo I.D. issued from a recognized Federal or State governmental institution (driver license, CAC card etc), vehicle operators will have to provide a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration or rental agreement to obtain a temporary visitor's pass to get through the gate. Conference RSVP Deadline/Instructions: Notification of approval to attend will be sent via email to each registrant email received and approved. Any changes to the time, date, or location of the conference will be posted on the Fedbizopps.gov website. Please submit the information below via email to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Emily M. Marshall at emily.m.marshall.civ@mail.mil and the Contracting Officer, Mr. Alex A. Iglesias at alexis.a.iglesias.civ@mail.mil no later than 06 December 2011, 3:00PM MST. Telephone number Late reservations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will be accommodated only if seating and processing time is available. Security Clearance: Security clearances will not be required; conference will be at the unclassified level Dress: Business Casual Cost: There is no fee - lunch will not be provided by the Government, it will be your responsibility. RFP- Question Submittal Instructions: Questions received at the pre-proposal conference will be considered and addressed, if feasible, depending on the nature of the question. Notwithstanding, all questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist by e-mail so that a written response to all questions will be subsequently provided for all Offerors use via FedBizOpps notice. Firms may submit questions they have regarding the RFP prior to their conference attendance by submitting their questions, for consideration at the Pre-Proposal Conference, via electronic email to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Emily M. Marshall at emily.m.marshall.civ@mail.mil and the Contracting Officer, Mr. Alex A. Iglesias at alexis.a.iglesias.civ@mail.mil, no later than 11:00AM MST on 12 December 2011. Use the following format for all your question submittals. *Email subject line should read "CTNOSC Pre-Proposal RFP Question for Consideration." *Submit questions in an organized manner directly in the email text or attached as a word document if desired *Label each question with a Subject area to help review and staff properly: Schedule, Cost, Technical, Contracting, or Other *Keep questions brief and to the point *Do not send information marketing a firm's capabilities Additional Info: This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
