Description

Notice of Intent Leased Space for the U.S. Federal Government Des Plaines, Illinois Requirement: The Federal Government intends to enter into a lease renewal for a period of 5 years, 2 years firm term for approximately 7,656 BOMA rentable square feet (RSF) of office and related space. The Government presently occupies 7,656 RSF at 2340 South River Road, Des Plaines, IL which expires February 21, 2012 under GSA lease number GS-05B-17614. The Government has determined for mission-related and economic reasons that it is advantageous to renew its current lease to allow enough time to complete the competitive process for a long term requirement. Unique Requirements: • Holding Cell • Prisoner Processing Area • Secure Weapons/Ammunition Room • Grand Jury Storage Room • Secure Evidence Room Delineated Area: North - Touhy Ave., South - Irving Park Road, East - Des Plaines River Road, West - Elmhurst/ York Road) Lease Term/Occupancy: 5 years, 2 years firm. Occupancy 2/22/2012 Expressions of interest must be received no later than November 23, 2011 and include the following: 1) Building Name and Address, 2) BOMA Office Area Square Feet and BOMA Office Area Rate Per Square Foot.
