Description

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation Philadelphia has a requirement for the manufacturing of NSN: 6130-01-496-9496, Charger, Battery in accordance with Eldec Corporation Part Number: 4-056-08. The Government is required to procure NSN: 6130-01-496-9496 from the actual manufacturer; furthermore, the Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to purchase this part from other than the current source. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Section 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. DLA Aviation will issue the solicitation as a Sole Sourced Firm Fixed Price Requirement Contract, to include a three-year base, and (2) one-year options. The forecasted quantities: FY12 “ 24 each, FY13 “ 24 each, FY14 “ 24each, FY15 “ 31 each, FY16 “ 37 each Numbered Notes: 9, 22, and 26 apply
