Description

This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to enter into a firm fixed price contract with Teradyne, Inc. Global Customer Services, 600 River park Drive, North Reading, MA 01864-2634, Microflex tester support includes parts, unlimited offline licenses, software maintenance as a product and PM visits for base year and two option periods. Place of Performance is F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, Code GXMQ Building 3334, Crane, IN 47522-5001. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. The basis for restricting competition is Teradyne, Inc. ™s proprietary technical information and the duplicative cost to the Government that it would not expect to be recovered through competition. Since this is a Sole Source procurement, a solicitation will not be posted to the internet. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit quotes to the Point of Contact (POC) at NSWC Crane. The POC is Teresa A Crevier, Code CXMTN at Tel: 812-854-8893 or email: teresa.crevier@navy.mil.
