Description
This solicitation supersedes Request For Quotation (RFQ) SPRTA1-11-Q-0489. Electronic Amplifier for T-56 Engine; AMC code 1R. Both New Manufactured Material and New/Unused Surplus Material will be solicited for this requirement. NSN: 5996-01-406-4035 OJ. OEM Code: 63005. PN: 23059687. Description: Temperature Datum Amplifier receives and monitors engine speeds and provides feedback to all fuel accessories and controls engines. Dimensions are approximately 8 inches by 8 inches by 4 inches. Material is corrosion resistant steel. Quantity: 63 each. Destination: Foreign Military Sales. Delivery Schedule: 63 each on or before 30 DEC 2011. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements.An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8241. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The anticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of this notice.
