- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX intends to make a single award for the provision of Radiological Technologist services for inmates at the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Elkton, OH. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621399 (Size Standard: $7 million). The individual performing the Radiological Technologist services must maintain a current Ohio Radiology Certification, provide evidence of certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and have three years of current experience as a Radiology Technician/Radiologic Technologist. The individual must have history with working in electronic medical record systems, and show they have knowledge of working on computer systems. The individual must have experience with teleradiology equipment and digital radiology equipment. Quoters must specifically identify the individual that will be performing these services under any subsequent contract award. The quoter must provide proof that their candidate meets all qualifications. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database under NAICS Code 621399. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The contract periods will consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal with an estimated maximum of 1500 sessions per year. The Contractor will normally work, Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays), normally between the hours of 6:00 am and 4:00 pm, with a thirty to sixty minute unpaid lunch period, (if applicable). The facility is expected to require an average of 28-30 sessions per week. The solicitation will be available on/about November 15, 2011 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The date for receipt of quotations is on/about December 15, 2011; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered. See Note 1.
