Suitable technical data, government data rights, ormanufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition fromother sources, nor qualification testing of another part nor use of asecond source part in the intended application.NSN: 5930-00-965-7111 OJ.OEM Code: 63005. PN: 6827995. Unison PN: CG12313Description: Pressure switch for oil sensing unit for T56 engine.Dimensions are approximately 2 inches by 3 inches by 2 inches, weight 64ounces. Material is metal-strength heat resistant.Quantity: Total Quantity - 60 each; 12 each for foreign military sales,48 each for U.S. Navy.Destination: 12 each to FMS, 48 each to U.S. Navy SW3122 JacksonvilleFL.Delivery Schedule: Requested on or before 30 DEC 2011.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, orquotation which shall be considered by the agency.One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free TradeAgreements.An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. DO NOT CALLTHIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS.Based upon market research, the Government is not using policiescontained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interestedparties may identify to the contracting officer their interest andcapability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercialitem within 15 days of this notice.Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request forWritten Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxedrequests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. Theanticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of thisnotice.
