Description
The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Installation Contracting Office, Fort Benning, Georgia anticipates extending the existing contract, W911SF-10-C-0002, with the National Infantry Foundation, 1775 Legacy Way, Columbus, Georgia 31903 for an additional six (6) months pending award of a follow-on contract. W911SF-10-C-0002 is a cost pass-through services contract for the Army-exclusive and pro rata share of the Common Areas in the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center (NIM-SC) as specified in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Army and the National Infantry Foundation, a not-for-profit organization and the owner-operator of the facility. The NIM-SC is comprised of three contiguous areas: Foundation-exclusive space (34,168 sf); Army-exclusive space (62,968 sf) and Common Area (88,857 sf) which benefits both the Army and the Foundation. This contract covers only the Facility Operating Services for NIM-SC Army-exclusive space and the pro rata share of the Common Area. The existing contract expires December 31, 2011. The period of performance for the extension is January 1, 2012 thru June 30, 2012. This extension will provide continuity of service until a new follow-on contract is awarded. Contract extension will be executed as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Interested persons may identify their challenge to this sole source acquisition in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide timely and effective services no later than 2:00 P.M.
