Description
Gardening Sol Comm Items for Caracas Venezuela 2011 The Embassy of the United States in Caracas, Venezuela will launch via the Internet and by notification locally, a solicitation for the maintenance and appearance of the grass, shrubbery, garden areas, trees, and related landscape elements at the U. S. Embassy Compound, Ambassador and Deputy Chief of Mission's Residences (CMR and DCR respectively), and swimming pool at the CMR. These areas are an important part of the representational responsibilities of the U.S. mission. The Embassy will measure the Contractor's work by the appearance of the landscape covered by this contract. The price listed in the proposal shall include all labor, materials, insurance, overhead, and profit. The Government will pay the Contractor the fixed price per month for standard services that have been satisfactorily performed. Anticipated performance is for one year and two, one-year options. Contractor shall include all planning, administration, and management necessary to assure that all services comply with the contract, the COR's schedules and instructions, and all applicable laws and regulations. Temporary Additional Services are services that are defined as Standard Services but are required at times other than the normal workday. These services shall support special events at the Post. The Contractor shall provide these services in addition to the scheduled services specified in this contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The USG plans to issue the solicitation on or about November 23, 2011. This requirement will be issued via the Internet -FEDBIZOPS; and in local newspapers. Note: The response date in this FEDBIZOPS is not a firm date please see the RFP for the actual date. Original Point of Contact name: David C.
