Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina, intends to issue a firm-fixed price, sole source purchase order to Private Diagnostic Clinic, Durham, North Carolina. This non-competitive action is being issued by the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, NC. The Federal Correctional complex has a need for healthcare services that Private Diagnostic Clinic can provide that cannot be provided under the current comprehensive medical contract. The Government believes that Private Diagnostic Clinic is the only clinic that will satisfy the agency requirement. This is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Thank Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received within 5 working days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
