- Description
- Media Monitoring Service Request for Information (RFI) Scope of Work The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) seeks information from vendors about their capability to collect public media information about consumer financial issues and generate a series of weekly reports which are tailored to the needs of a various office within CFPB. CFPB is interested in understanding the process by which each vendor identifies a wide variety of source material - including but not limited to news, internet forums/message boards/websites, press releases, blogs, journals, interviews and transcripts - to collect relevant media information. Additionally, CFPB would like to examine, or view a demonstration of, each vendor's reporting vehicle. Ideally, CFPB would like information about a service that gathers and tracks news and facts about selected consumer financial issues. The service must have an electronic report function whereby CFPB staff may filter and/or search the relevant media information for efficient review. CFPB anticipates the need to view and print any report in a variety of formats - the complete report, a subsection of the report, and/or an individual source - as needed. Submission Instructions Responses to this RFI should not exceed fifteen (15) pages and must contain the following information for each applicable product a vendor wishes to showcase: • Vendor's capability statement including customer support information; • Complete list or description of types of sources used for the vendor's product searches; • Explanation of how vendor's service identifies relevant sources; • Description of vendor's reporting method and capabilities; • Vendor's pricing information on yearly basis; • A list of three (3) current government customers CFPB may contact as references; if the vendor has no government customers, current private customers are acceptable; • Any other information vendor considers pertinent to this RFI. CCR Registration As a reminder, per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 4.1102(a), "[p]rospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database prior to award of a contract or agreement." Please visit https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx for further information regarding how to register in CCR. DISCLAIMER THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 15.202(E), THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT PRESENTLY INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT, BUT WANTS TO OBTAIN PRICE, DELIVERY, AND OTHER MARKET RESEARCH FOR PLANNING PURPOSES. RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE ARE NOT OFFERS AND CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO FORM A BINDING CONTRACT. RESPONDENTS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH RESPONDING TO THIS RFI. RESPONSES TO THIS RFI WILL NOT BE RETURNED. RESPONDENTS WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED OF THE RESULT OF THE REVIEW.
