Description

RFP and technical details **** DUE TO SYSTEMS ISSUES, THE RFP CANNOT BE POSTED TO DIBBS AS STATED IN THE ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS. THEREFORE, THE BUYER IS ISSUING A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR THIS ITEM. DETAILS AND ATTACHMENTS FOLLOW. **** DLA Aviation, intends to issue an unrestricted solicitation for services and supplies required for a Thermal Spray Cell for use at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. The work will include installation, testing and training. The anticipated completion date of the project is August 2012. A complete technical data package is available as an attachment to this announcement. The solicitation is open as of 10/28/11. The closing date is 11/18/11. QAP 175 is applicable for this requirement. Offers will be evaluated based on a lowest-priced, technically-acceptable basis. The award will be made as a firm fixed price contract. FOB at Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Origin. A copy of the solicitation is attached.
