- Synopsis: The Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command Contracting and Acquisition Management Office (CAMO) and the Counter Narco-Terrorism Program Office (CNTPO) will host an Industry Day on 14 November 2011 to inform industry of a new procurement to support the CNTPO. This is a follow-on action to the existing CNTPO Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts, whose ordering period expires on 23 Aug 2012. The Industry Day will cover topics including an overview of CNTPO, the draft Scopes of Work, draft acquisition strategy and key Request for Proposal sections. All interested parties are invited to attend; however, attendance is restricted to U.S. firms and U.S. citizens only. Classification: Unclassified. Registration: Registration for this event will open 3 November 2011 at https://www.cntpo.com. In order to promote an informative and successful conference, attendance is by registration only. Seating is limited to 350 attendees; only those with a confirmed registration will be permitted to attend. Registration is limited to no more than four (4) representatives per company. Registration will be on a first come-first served basis. The information presented will be unclassified; aside from registration, no other information is required. You may submit questions to be answered at Industry Day via email to patricia.c.ashley@us.army.mil. Questions must be received no later than 2:00 pm CST on 8 November 2011. Questions may also be submitted prior to the start of the conference and during the briefing; however, the Government may elect to defer responses to another forum. Draft Scopes of Work and the Draft Request for Proposals are anticipated to be posted on 7 November 2011 on the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. A list of all attendees, questions with answers, and the briefing slides will be posted to this site following Industry Day. The event will be held at the Wingate by Wyndham Fredericksburg, 20 Sanford Drive, Fredericksburg, VA. The event will start at 0800 and run through approximately 1200. Refreshments will be limited to water and coffee. The Industry Day presentations will be followed by one-on-one sessions with prospective prime contractors and their team members on 14 and 15 November 2011 at the Wingate at Wyndham hotel. These sessions are limited solely to those firms that are preregistered at https://www.cntpo.com for purposes of the one-on-one sessions (note, this is a separate registration from the Industry Day registration). Responses provided during the one-on-one sessions will be posted to the website, to the extent possible. A maximum of 8 participants per prime contractor team will be permitted during the one-on-one session. Each session will be limited to a maximum of 30 minutes each. Time slots will be allocated on a first come-first served basis only. Questions to be discussed during these sessions are requested to be submitted to patricia.c.ashley@us.army.mil no later than 9 November 2011. Notes: 1. The purpose of this meeting is to inform industry and gather market research information. The Government is not liable for any expenses incurred by an attendee or potential offeror in order to attend this conference. Information presented at this forum represents the Government's draft position; information may be updated at any time prior to the release of the RFP. Once the RFP is published, responses to questions and answers and changes to the RFP will be executed via amendments to the RFP. Prospective offerors are encouraged to frequently check ASFI/FedBizOpps frequently for updates on this acquisition. 2.
