Description
MATRIX QASP PWS for AUTO PARTS STORE This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This announcement seeks information from industry, which will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The United States Border Patrol (USBP), Tucson & Yuma Sectors are performing market research to determine potential sources in the preparation of a future contract. This request for information (RFI) does not commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in preparation of any submission to this Sources Sought Notice or to a contract for services. This is a market survey for written information only. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of industry. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. The requirement is an Auto Parts Store/Concession within the Yuma & Tucson Sector garage facilities. Interested parties will be required to support both facilities in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). Industry days have been set up for November 15 & 17, 2011. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps. Any interested firms should submit a written capability statement to include their experience in operating Auto Parts Concessions/Retail operations. In the capabilities statement, potential contractors should provide their size status for NAICS: 493110 and type of business (i.e. large or small business, HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.) Complete the attached matrix and return all responses to Teresa Nechvatal via e-mail no later than November 18, 2011. A complete response package will include a capabilities statement, matrix, and a brief history of experience not to exceed 10 pages. All communication will be in writing, verbal responses will not be accepted.
