- This acquisition is to obtain a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the purpose of repairing NOUN: Accelerometer, Indicator; NSN: 6615-01-282-9676; Part Number: 3001-01-900, which is applicable to the C-5 Aircraft. The contract will have a basic qty of 6 Ea. The option will have a qty of 3 Ea. Delivery: 60 days ARO. This is a sole source effort to Ametek, Inc., 1644 Whittier Ave., Costa Mesa, CA 92627-4415. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. LENGTH: 4 inches; WIDTH: 2.5 inches; HEIGHT: 3.5 inches; WEIGHT: 24 ounces; MATERIAL: Aluminum. Data or rights are not owned by the Government for this acquisition. Estimated issue date of solicitation is 4 November 2011. Estimated response date is 5 December 2011.
