- Description
- The Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville Kentucky has a requirement for a contractor to provide design and construction services to design, supply, install and commission an HVAC for Oncology and Hematology Department located on the south wing of the third floor in the main hospital building on the medical center campus. Work will include but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, equipment and expert supervision needed to fully complete the project scope as fully defined in the solicitation/specification documents to be available for download on or before November 14, 2011 at the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.fbo.gov. The construction cost range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The business size standard is $14M. NAICS code 238220 is applicable to this requirement. This requirement is being set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. In order to be eligible for award, any firm submitting an offer for consideration must be listed and viewable on the Vendor Information Pages (VETBIZ) located at the following website: https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Offerors who are not listed and viewable at the time of offer submission (December 14, 2011), will not be considered, and such offer will be rejected and not considered. This requirement is being procured pursuant to FAR 15 and 36. The Source Selection process will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer. The relative importance in descending order of the technical evaluation factors are Design Concepts, Technical Solutions, Key Personnel, Relevant Experience, Construction Management, Past Performance, Schedule and Price. All technical evaluation factors when combined are significantly more important than price.
