- The purpose of this special announcement is to notify interested firms that an Industry Day Conference for the B61-12 TKA acquisition has been planned for Wednesday, 9 November 2011, at Eglin AFB, FL. Further details regarding location(s), times, etc, will follow through this Special Notice (FA868112R0004) in a subsequent posting as they become available. Overall, it is the Government's intent to conduct a general session in the morning, followed by one-on-one sessions with interested prime contractors in the afternoon. In order to help us provide adequate seating for all conference attendees, as well as to provide access to the installation and facilitate classified discussions if necessary, please submit the following requests no later than Thursday, 3 November 2011: 1) E-mail reservation request to Mr. Mike T. Giordano at michael.giordano@eglin.af.mil and Mr. Wesley R. Treadway at wesley.treadway@eglin.af.mil. In your e-mail request, please include your company name, indicate whether your company intends on participating as a prime contractor or subcontractor, and include a list of specific names of the individuals who will be attending the conference. 2) Visit requests submitted via the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) using SMO Code AAC EB (please note the space between AAC and EB), in order to facilitate base access and industry day discussions. Interested personnel must include the following information in their visit request: A. Name B. Social Security Number C. Level of Clearance (Minimum Secret Required) D. Date Clearance was granted E. POC at receiving end (Mr. Wesley R. Treadway) F. POC's Phone (Office: 850-883-0708 Cell: 850-240-0685) G. Date of Industry Day (9 November 2011) H. Reason for request (B61-12 TKA Industry Day) I. SMO Code at receiving end (AAC EB) Please note, attendance/participation at the B61-12 TKA Industry Day Conference is encouraged but is not a prerequisite for participating in the B61-12 TKA solicitation.
