- ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO JODY BYRD. You may fax or mail your request ATTN: CCAM-AL-M, Jody Byrd, Contract Specialist, or Jeanie Clark, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-955-9237. No telephone requests or emails will be accepted. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, testing equipment and materials to overhaul the Gearbox Accessory, PRID: AB679, Input NSNs: 1615-01-074-1219, 1615-01-168-2984, 1615-01-230-6218, 1615-01-241-6110, 1615-01-353-3825, and 1615-01-527-8175, Output NSN: 1615-01-527-8175, Input PNs: 70351-08001-043, 70351-08001-045, 70351-08008-046, 70351-08001-047, 70351-08001-49, and 70351-08001-50, Output P/N: 70351-08001-50, in support of the UH-60 aircraft. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price, 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a minimum quantity of 50 each, maximum quantity of 625 each, including 103 each for FMS. The Gearbox Accessory is a Critical Safety Item (CSI). There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) to support this requirement. Therefore, this item will be solicited to SPAR Aerospace Limited, Cage Code 3AA96, (which is wholly owned by L3 Communications Canada) AND Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Cage Code 78286. It has been determined that this requirement can NOT be met by commercial items. Therefore, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 will be used. The requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
