- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis only. IT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES OR PROPOSALS! It is for informational purposes only. The government is seeking businesses capable of providing service support in the form of access control services for monitoring and operating electronic security systems and manual processes that support access control to the ARCENT headquarters at Shaw AFB. Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, training, materials, supplies and equipment and will plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure the effective performance of all access control services in full compliance with all DOD,U.S.Army, Installation and organization (ARCENT) policy, directives, orders and guidance. Manning the front desk shall be required twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Manager services are to be provided from 0800 to 1600 hours, Monday through Friday (except federal holidays). The manager and each access control specialist shall maintain a security eligibility and access equivalent to the highest level required. Interested contractors shall provide a list of access control service projects and contracts that they have performed that demonstrates that they can meet or exceed the above requirements. Responses shall include points of contact to include phone numbers, email addresses, dollar amounts of contracts, etc. Responses shall be addressed to the contract specialist at Lillian.w.darby@us.rmy.mil and shall be received prior to 4:00PM (ET) 28 October 2011 in order to be considered. Responses shall reference the Sources Sought number and also include the business size of the company.
