- Description
- This requirement is for a 6-year, Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements-Type Indefinite-Delivery contract for the ARTS test stations and 25 Line Replaceable Units (LRU) Test Program Sets (TPSs). This requirement will consist of one basic period of 24 months and one four-year option period. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) encompassing the test stations, LRU TPSs, and copies of the LRU TPS ITAs listed in the order above by Ordering Periods are all follows: Test Stations: BEQ 23 ea (including 3 ea preproduction units) LRU TPSs: BEQ 25 ea Station TPS Self-Test: BEQ 1 ea Station TPS Calibration: BEQ 1 ea Copies of LRU TPS ITAs and cables: BEQ 175 ea Copies of Station TPS Self-Test: BEQ 7 ea Copies of Station TPS Calibration: BEQ 7 ea There is no minimum or maximum order amount established. The proposed contract will be competed on a full and open basis among both large and small offerors. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP provision “Proposal Requirements”. The Government will utilize the tradeoff evaluation methodology allowing for a tradeoff between past and present performance and price, among those offerors whose technical and small business participation proposals are acceptable, and will evaluate proposals and award in accordance with the “Evaluation Basis for Award” provision in the RFP. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 6 Dec 2011. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/). All questions regarding the RFP MUST be submitted IN WRITING to Brandi.Matlock@robins.af.mil with a copy to Lauren.Farrell@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS.
