- The purpose of this modification is to answer questions submitted in reference to Solicitation CNSHQ12T0001. Q1. When will answers be posted to the questions? A1. VIA FBO as an amendment. Q2. Please explain what a single call limit means – please be specific so that we know exactly how to quote appropriately. A2. A single call limit is the maximum dollar value that each BPA Call can be. The size of a single BPA Call has been stated in the RFQ. Q3. This bid was posted last year. Therefore, is there an incumbent? A3. This is a new requirement for a different NCCC Campus and there is no incumbent Q4. Was this bid awarded last year? A4. No, this is a new requirement Q5. If so, why is it not being renewed? A5. N/A Q6. Does “low rope course” mean fixed initiatives in trees only or would a portable program suffice if the requester’s goals were achieved? A6. “Low Ropes Courses” take place on the ground or a few feet above the ground. It can be fixed initiatives in trees or a portable program or a combination of both. Whichever type of low ropes course you provide will be evaluated for technical accepta bility. *Please note that the campus does not have adequate facilities to conduct a ropes course on site. Q7. Is price the most important factor in making the decision for award? A7. The award will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria Q8. What factors are considered in making the award? A8. Proposals will be evaluated based on their compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and being able to provide everything that is being requested in the SOW. Vendors must be able to meet 100% of the vendor requirements, delivery requirements, purchase description, and anything else required in the SOW. Q9. Must the awarded company be physically located in the state of Iowa? A9. No, but the ropes course must be provided within 60 miles from the campus in Vinton, IA. Q10. Will bids from out of state be considered? A10. Yes, bids from out of state will be considered that meet the requirements stated. Q11. What time on the 24th must our proposal be electronically submitted. A11. Per the FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) solicitation all proposals must be submitted by Monday, October 24, 2011 at 4:00pm Eastern Time. As a result of this amendment the due date is extended to Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 4pm (EST)
