Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with or attached to this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. śTHIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION ť. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code 332999 “All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing applies; Size standard 500 Employees. The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Albany, Georgia intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. The government reserves the right to make one, multiple, or no awards resulting from this solicitation. Notes: 1. This requirement has a First Article Sample Kit inspection requirment. The Sample Kit must be approved prior to requesting the production quantity. The Government will inspect, accept, evaluate and possibly revise the kit before requesting the next kit. 2. Desired delivery times are provided. Offerors shall state their own proposed delivery schedules if other than the desired delivery. If kits are revised a new delivery schedule shall be negotiated with the contractor. 3. Delivery: Ship to: Marine Corps Logistics Command, Maintenance Center, Albany, GA 31704. FOB Destination pricing is required. 4. The Statement of Requirements and applicable drawings can be viewed at the MCLC Contracts Department website http://www.logcom.usmc.mil/contracts/solicit/. CLIN 0001: BHL Tool Carrier Fabrication Kit, P/N: 2010E8011 / Rev-C, (1 Kit) FIRST ARTICLE - fabricate and deliver in accordance Statement of Requirement and drawings attached. Desired delivery is ten (10) calendar days after award. CLIN 0002: BHL Tool Carrier Fabrication Kit, P/N: 2010E8011 / Current Revison, (14 Kits) PRODUCTION PHASE - fabricate and deliver in accordance with Statement of Requirement and drawings provided. Desired delivery is ten (10) calendar days after approval of first article.
