THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION/ SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR OFFERS OR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INTERESTED FIRMS OR CONTRACTORS TO SUBMIT THEIR CREDENTIALS. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR AWARD A CONTRACT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF TECHNICALLY CAPABLE AND OTHERWISE RESPONSIBLE FIRMS THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING OFFERS FOR THIS ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION. The General Services Administration, Public Building Service is seeking sources capable of performing The work to be performed hereunder includes the furnishing of all labor, supervision, equipment, material (unless otherwise noted) of all work requested for the Replacement of the HVAC System in the Ellender Federal Building & United States Post Office at 423 Lafayette St.; Houma, LA 70360 The estimated cost range for all work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This procurement is open to all business concerns. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. All offerors are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought, synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. The solicitation will be available on or about November 3, 2011. In responding to this presolicitation/sources sought synopsis, please indicate your: (1) interest as a prime contractor, teaming partner, joint venture, and indicate (2) whether or not your company is a small business. (3) Brief description of your firms past experience in Construction trades, (4) overall Bonding Capacity, and (5) company information (name, point of contact phone number/email). It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 210 calendar days to complete. Please note that there is no solicitation available at this time; the purpose of this announcement is to identify available sources only. Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection employing a "Best Value Concept" methodology. Submit this information to the Contract Specialist listed on this notice via e-mail only. No phone calls or faxes expressing interest will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov and have completed on-line representations and Certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov. At a minimum all vendors must supply the following information: Your Company's Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) (you can get this number from your company's CCR Point of Contact), your company's DUNS Number or CAGE Code, if you do not have a DUNS Number, complete an online request at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform.
