- Sweatsuits Running Pants Running Pants Running Jacket Running Jacket Blanket Comforter Jersey Women's Short Men's Short Responsible Sources Sought for United States Air Force (USAF) Academy Cadet Running and Sweat Suits and Blankets and Comforters and Mesh Shorts and Jerseys. We are foremost seeking sources who can sources who can respond to each item required herein. This notice is not a solicitation. This announcement serves as a sources sought notice for the upcoming competitive acquisition for USAF Academy Cadet Running and Sweat Suits and Blankets and Comforters and Mesh Shorts and Jerseys. Interested firms must reference their 8(a), HUB Zone, Woman Owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned or other small business socioeconomic status that must be signed by a company official with authority to bind the company. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. This sources sought notice is also issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. All businesses capable of providing these products are invited to respond. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought notice is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought notice. The 10th Contracting Division, USAF Academy, is seeking potential sources who can provide Cadet Running and Sweat Suits, and Blankets and Comforters and Mesh Shorts and Jerseys. The applicable NAICS Codes are: 315211 (Men's and Boys' Cut and Sew Apparel Contractors) and 313210 (Broadwoven Fabric Mills); with the small business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract will be a commercial Firm Fixed Price contract. Estimated quantities are: 1,000 Sweat Suits each (1,000 Sweatshirts and 1,000 Sweatpants) manufactured in accordance with USAFA Purchase Description 185, dated 20 January 2010. 1,250 Running Suits each (1,250 Running Jackets and 1,250 Running pants) manufactured in accordance with USAFA Purchase Description 99-04, dated 5 May 2011. 1,200 Blankets each manufactured in accordance with USAFA Purchase Description 18-4, dated 9 February 2007. 1,200 Comforters manufactured in accordance with USAFA Purchase Description CU-175, dated 15 January 2008. 2,540 Mens Shorts manufactured in accordance with USAFA Purchase Description 180, dated 7 October 2011. 460 Womens Shorts manufactured in accordance with USAFA Purchase Description 180w, dated 7 October 2011. 896 Jerseys manufactured in accordance with USAFA Purchase Description 205-A, dated 6 October 2011. All items and components must be made and manufactured in accordance with DFARS 252-225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. A first article will be required in accordance with FAR 52.209-4 Alt 1. What is your business arrangement in the commercial industry? 6. Are you a manufacturer, or do you subcontract the work? 7. Have you ever performed government contracts? 8. What is your lead-time to manufacture items listed herein? 9. What are your commercial terms and conditions? Only responsible suppliers need respond. NOTE: Specifications that are more detailed will accompany the solicitation. ** No telephone responses, please** This sources sought is for planning purposes only and does not commit the government to pay for the information requested.
