Description
sPECIAL NOTICE U.S. GOVERNMENT Parking space Brooklyn, NY THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION TO BID OR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Description REQUIREMENT: The United States Government intends to extend their current lease for approximately 69 structured parking spaces in Brooklyn, New York. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this notice as a basis to develop a cost benefit analysis to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirement's as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs and replication of security costs among other things. The space shall be capable of being altered or constructed to meet the Government's needs. The parking space is required to be able to access 24 hours/7 days a week and must have the capacity to self park. Underground space, Valet parking and Sub - leases are not acceptable. All services, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The Government reserves the right to determine acceptability of the offered property as to the building's structural integrity, accessibility compliance and fire and life safety and security of its surrounding. Space should be ready for occupancy by December 15, 2011. LEASE TERM: 3 years, with the Government having cancellation rights upon 30 days written notice t o the Lessor. DELINEATED AREA: Within the following boundaries: NORTH: Johnson Street EAST: Bridge Street SOUTH: Fulton street WEST: Adams Street SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information at minimum (This is not an invitation for bids or a request for proposals): •· Building name/address •· Location of space in the building •· One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered •· Square footage/ parking spaces and rental rate including utilities •· Common Area Factor used to determine the RSF •· Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact •· In cases where an agent is representing multiple ownership entities, written acknowledgement, and •· permission to represent multiple owners for the same submission All expressions of interest must be received by October 24, 2011. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the offeror enter into discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of Federal agencies other than the officers, employees and authorized representatives of General Services Administration.
