- Description
- The United States Agency for International Development requires an External Private Sector Advisor to support the Bureau for Food Security's Markets, Partnerships, and Innovation Office to facilitate partnerships and management knowledge through the development of the Feed the Future Private Sector Engagement Hub. The Bureau for Food Security requires this support immediately. Private sector engagement is critical to the success of the initiative. Per FAR 13.106(b), the contracting officer determined that the urgency of the requirement deemed only one source available. The urgency of the requirement, coupled with the dollar value, justify use of a firm-fixed price, sole source award. Heuristic Management LLC possesses a predominant capability in this very specific subset of skills necessary for the development of the Hub, including an in-depth knowledge of the U.S. and multinational private sector, capital markets, and business development, along with expertise in the areas of hunger, agricultural development, and gender equality. The expertise possessed by Heuristic Management LLC is urgently needed to allow the Markets, Partnerships, and Innovation Office in the Bureau for Food Security to develop the materials for this portal and to deliver information to external partners in a concise and systematic manner.
