Description
SF-1449 PDF Combined synopsis/solicitation Provide to the Government the rental of 1- 24"x18" diesel powered, automatic priming dewatering pump capable of handling solids up to 4.1" and an indefinite dry-running capability with the following specifications. The rental period will run from 1 Nov 2011 through 31 May 2012. The Government will provide routine maintenance such as lubrication, fuel and oil changes. The rental company will provide maintenance considered above and beyond routine maintenance. The Government will prepare the location for placing the dewatering pump. Dewatering pump specifications: Max. Capacity 14,500 GPM Max. Head 160' Impeller diameter 21.65" Max. Working pressure of 80 PSI Max. Operating speed of 1200 RPM Auxiliary fuel tank with a minimum capacity of 500 Gallons In conjunction with the dewatering pump the contractor shall supply a discharge increaser and suction piping. The discharge increaser shall allow for connection of the 18" dewatering pump discharge to the 22" SDR 21 HDPE discharge pipe. The suction piping will either be set-up at a 45 or 90 degree angle to the pump suction, to be determined by the contractor. The maximum suction lift shall not exceed 15'. The suction piping shall be designed with an I.D. of not less than 24".
