- JustificationandApproval MICC ICO FC has an immediate need to exercise an option under FAR 52.217-8 to extend services for one month under the current CONUS Base Support Service (CSBS) contract, W9124D-09-C-9000 (although styled as a contract, this document is actually a task order issued under a CSBS enterprise multiple award indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity contract). On 26 September 2011, TechWise, an unsuccessful offeror in the competition for the successor contract for CSBS, submitted a post-award AMC-Level protest against the award to Eagle Support Services (Eagle). In accordance with FAR 52.233-3 and the AMC-Level Protest Procedures, a stop-work order was issued to Eagle, precluding it from starting services under the new contract on 1 October 2011, as scheduled. AMC has indicated that it will issue a decision in the protest by 25 October 2011.
