Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is W912DQ-12-T-1001 and it is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 235 metal core boxes with contoured foam channels (inserts 3.3") for PQ3 core. Core boxes shall be made to contain up to 10 feet of PQ (3.4") core in two separated 5 foot long parallel core channels. Core boxes will have handles on each end of the box and latching removable covers. Both core channels will be visible at the same time as viewed from above when lid is removed. Core boxes will be shipped to Lake Isabella Project office at 4901 Ponderosa Drive, Lake Isabella, CA 93240. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. This RFQ shall be set aside for small businesses and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332439 and the business size standard is 500 employees. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, does apply to this acquisition with no addenda to the provision. Offerors must include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with this offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, does apply to this acquisition with no addenda to the provision. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The specific clauses required are detailed in this combined synopsis/solicitation. OFFERORS INTERESTED IN RESPONDING TO THIS RFQ MUST SUBMIT THEIR QUOTE ON THE ATTACHED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION.
