- DRAFT Statement Of Work OVERVIEW This Sources Sought Notice is for information ONLY and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the General Services Administration. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to seek the availability and capability of business concerns that are interesting in and capable of assisting the Government in assessing FAS E-commerce requirements and assessing the current GSA Advantage! As described herein and the attached Statement Of Work. OBJECTIVE This effort is to is to assist the Government to develop and document FAS's e-commerce vision. As part of this process, the Contractor will be expected to provide3 FAS leaders with insight on leading industry models for meeting e-commerce needs. Secondly, the Contract will assess the current GSA Advantage system by analyzing the current processes and key business rules, technology infrastructure, analyze the current user experience, benchmark GSA Advantage systems search results with other e-commerce sites of comparable business volume as well as analyzing the ease of accommodating new customer requirements. The Contractor will perform a gap analysis to highlight areas of deficiencies within the GSA Advantage! System and assist the Government to develop a roadmap to transition from the current state environment to the desired state by assessing the viable strategic solution options. The service being provided shall be readily available in the commercial market place. The same terms and conditions offered commercial customers are expected to be offered under this acquisition. The expected period of performance for this effort will commence from the date of award and extend for five (5) months or twenty (20) weeks. The primary place of performance for this effort is Crystal City, VA. The Contract can choose to work at an off-site location when interaction with GSA team members is not required. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed-Price. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR PRICE QUOTES. This is a request for interested potential Offerors to submit a brief Capability Statement demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements. Interested firms responding to this Sources Sought notice must provide a Capability Statement demonstrating their experience, skills and ability to fulfill the Government's objective described above. Capability Statements shall not exceed twenty (20) pages. Responding to this Notice The Capability Statement must be sent to Deborah Joeckel at deborah.joeckel@gsa.gov no later than October 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. CST. This Sources Sought notice is for INFORMATION ONLY and shall not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited.
