SECTION A - CONTRACT REQUIREMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50, effective August 19, 2011. The North American Industry Classification Code is 335911 "Storage Battery Manufacturing" with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The SIC code is 3691 "Storage Batteries." This will be solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract subject to the provisions and clauses listed in the formal VA solicitation format following.
