Description
SOURCES SOUGHT FOR San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) Information Technology Support AT FORT SAM HOUSTON, TEXAS THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine the potential firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. Feedback is encouraged and appreciated. The Mission Contracting Office (MCO) - Fort Sam Houston is seeking information on sources to provide SAMMC on-site IM/IT non-personal services in every facet of IM/IT healthcare and administrative endeavors. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, transportation, and services to complete the tasks in support of all infrastructure, servers, workstations, peripheral devices, desktop applications (to include software and hardware installations and virus/security updates), print and document management, electronic mail, document management/imaging, Military Hospital System (MHS) systems, local applications, visual informatics and graphics, Video Teleconference Center (VTC), and communications systems at sites that comprise SAMMC (which includes San Antonio Metropolitan area, to include Fort Sam Houston, Camp Bullis, commercial buildings and customers located at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. This requirement does not include SAMMC South (formerly Wilford Hall)). The contractor's responsibilities shall include aspects of hardware maintenance and all software support for all workstations, peripherals and servers. This will require interaction with both Government civilian and military employees and other hardware maintenance and software/system support contractors. The work will also require interaction with other DoD agencies' personnel and their contractors. The NAICS contemplated for information technology support services is 541513 with a size standard of $25M. It is our intent to award a Firm Fixed Price with cost elements contract. The contract is expected to have a base period of performance of twelve (12) months from date of award with four (4) option periods for a maximum of sixty (60) months. There will be a thirty (30) day phase in period in which the incumbent contractor (Lockheed Martin, W91QUZ-06-D-0017-SM01) will turn over the IT equipment/software in its possession. The government's determination on how to compete the proposed requirement will be based on market research and responses to the notice; and is at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The current capabilities of industry, to include large and small business, must be confirmed. As such, all eligible large and small businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this source sought notice. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of this sources sought survey. If and when a solicitation is issued, it will be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the respondent's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation. INFORMATION REQUESTED TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT: Interested sources shall complete the attached market research questionnaire. It is requested that interested businesses submit to the contracting office the completed market research questionnaire (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, 12-point font minimum).
