ASC/PKOA Contracting at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, is conducting market research to determine the availability of firms to provide a wireless test chamber to provide isolation from multipath and interfering waveforms of systems under test. The chamber is to be lined with RF absorbing anechoic material and will be operated over a range of 1GHz to 6 GHz. The chamber will provide 100 dB of shielding from RF electromagnetic radiation from 200 kHz to 10 GHz when tested in accordance to MIL-STD-285. It will not require any internal lighting or power connections. The successful contractor is to provide all design-build services, materials, labor, equipment, freight, and installation of this wireless test chamber which will be installed on site on a raised floor, on the 3rd floor of building 620 at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. The major technical requirements necessary to meet our needs are: - Exterior dimensions (not including hinges or door handles): 5' x 8' x 7' (D x W x H) - Absorber (walls, ceiling, floor): 12" RF absorber with minimum absorption of 35 dB at 1 GHz (AEP-12, SFC-12, etc...) - 5 Patch panel locations: 12" x 12" (+/- 1") Will be located on one of the 8'x7' walls, one in each corner, offset from the internal absorbing material, and one in the middle of the wall. - 8 Patch panels: 12" x 12" (+/- 1") Panels made of 1/8" brass which will allow for standard RF bulkhead connectors to be mounted. Anechoic material will be mounted or attachable to internal side. Patch panels will be mountable in the patch panel locations specified above. - 1 Shielded Access Hatch: 30" x 5' (minimum) located on 8'x 7' wall offset from the center of the wall on opposite side from the patch panels - Shielding standard: MIL-STD 285 - Verification testing of shielding to MIL-STD-285: Verification document required upon completion. Contractor will provide equipment for testing. Testing will be performed after final assembly in the lab - Assembled on site in the TRUST Lab of Building 620, Area B, WPAFB, OH: Includes shipping, transport of materials within Building 620, and assembly in lab on 3rd floor (freight elevator accessible). Each potential source shall give a brief description of their product and ability to satisfy the requirements identified above.
