- Description
- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice, per FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released within an estimated 15 days. The subsequent RFP will seek technical and price submissions for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services to support the telecommunications mission, as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), at NAVSATCOMFAC Lago Patria, Italy. NAVSATCOMFAC Lago Patria is a department of NCTS Naples, which is administratively aligned under NCTAMS LANT Norfolk, VA. These O&M services include: Telecommunications Operation Management; O&M Teleport Communications Systems; Teleport Systems Equipment Maintenance; Training; Other Mission Support Functions; Inventory Maintenance; and Circuit Action Management. The NAVSUP Weapons System Support, Mechanicsburg, PA is soliciting proposals for this requirement in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 15 under NAICS code 517410. This acquisition is unrestricted. The anticipated result of this RFP will be a single award contract for a period of performance that includes a 30-day phase in period followed by a base period of TBD (start depends on schedule leading up to award and end will be 30 September 2012) and three 1-year option periods. Interested parties shall email the Contract Specialist and request access to the complete RFP (attachments), in the NAVSUP WSS Ariba collaboration tool. The Contract Specialist will initiate vendor/respondent access and/or registration in the Ariba collaboration tool, which will allow viewing of the complete RFP as it includes the attachments and associated documents. The Ariba collaboration tool is simply a communication tool/email box, for this particular requirement. All communications reference this requirement occur between vendor and Government, through this communications tool/email box.
