Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies and supervision (as specified in the Statement of Work) to prepare a minimum of three meals per day to veterans at the Homeless Veterans Service (HVS) at the Domiciliary, 3001 C Street, Anchorage, Alaska 99509. Each meal will typically be for no more than 50 residents; the average meal for daily preparation is expected to be 40 meals per day. The contractor shall also provide personnel to facilitate the preparation of and approval of all rotating menus, serving, and cleanup of general serving/eating area in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local health and sanitation regulations. The contractor shall possess a current Food Service Permit issued by the State of Alaska. The contractor shall also employ and furnish under the contract a 'Registered Dietitian' (RD) who shall thereafter be available at all times during performance of the contract and shall retain their 'registered' status during the entire life of the contract. Performance period is one base year plus one option year. Approximate start date is November 1, 2011. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 722310 with a standard size of $35.5 million. This solicitation is unrestricted. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fbogov. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is October 7, 2011.
