This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; This Request for Quotation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. NAICS Code 336992 “ Military Armored Vehicle; Tank and Tank Component Manufacturing - Size Standard 1,000 employees applies. The intended result of this effort is the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The government reserves the right to make one, multiple, or no awards resulting from this solicitation. Notes: 1.This requirement has four (4) developmental kits followed by a production quantity. Each of the four developmental kits will be produced and delivered by the contractor one at a time. The Government will inspect, accept, evaluate and possibly revise each kit before requesting the next kit. 2.Desired delivery times are provided. Offerors shall state their own proposed delivery schedules if other than the desired delivery. If kits are revised a new delivery schedule shall be negotiated with the contractor. 3.Delivery: Ship to: Marine Corps Logistics Command, Maintenance Center, Albany, GA 31704.
